WINTER BLUES

When the nights are long, the winds howl and the grounds frozen

morning snow

I like to bundle up with my cat and dog,

Cuddle babies

Hani said, “What? Average 2 inches of snow per year in Sequim, WA?”

...sip on a cup of chamomile tea, and take a trip.

…Go time travelling into last year’s warmer months. Marvel at the abundant flowers and fruits that filled the gardens and my vases. Savor the moments of chatting with visitors on the farm...

Roses awakening

Fragrant lilies

Fragrant lilies - I need more of these. They take little care and bloom their heads off. In the heat of summer, the gardens were filled with their perfumes. Even the delivery lady said, “I love the smell of your garden!”

Zephirin Drouhin

Zephrin Droughin

A fragrant thornless climbing rose. I grew it in Southern California. Now it is thriving in Sequim, WA. I love it so much, I added three more to the garden.

To all my gardening friends that won’t grow roses because of their thorns, try this.

…and dream of the abundance to come this spring…
