Happiness potion

I have read that there is a natural antidepressant in the dirt. My gardening friend first told it to me years ago. When the soil gets disturbed, there are these little “bugs” that get into our noses and they make us happy.

“This explains why I am so addicted to gardening.”

This explains why I am so addicted to gardening. For years and years, I would go into the garden with my morning cup of coffee. I would play in the dirt, trim bushes, tend to roses, pull weeds… until I am overflowing with happiness.

How wonderful that God provides such a great resource to us for happiness…dirt!
